Real Club Deportivo Mallorca will come to Sweden in July 2010 to play two football matches organized by Sport Business Nordic. The La Liga team will face two Swedish Premier League teams, the first is Djurgårdens IF on 12 July at Tunavallen in Eskilstuna and the second match is against IFK Norrköping at Nya Parken in Norrköping.
RCD Mallorca is pleased to have found a solution for their team which currently competes for one of next year’s Champions League spots. The club’s Marketing Director explains:

- Our 2010-2011 season stars in Sweden so this will be our first matches. It will be a couple of important days for us here in Sweden. The climate suits us better since it is too hot for us in July.

- We interrupt our training camp in Holland and fly to Sweden with our 35 man squad. It includes all our staff and squad. Our trainers will get an overview of the new squad where the new players mix with the current players.

On 12 July RCD Mallorca will play against the Stockholm team Djurgårdens IF.

- We are very happy to get the opportunity to play against Djurgården which also has a special history. It is a training match but all training matches are important. We are not only aiming for a good positin in La Liga but we have goals to play the Champions League and that demands a lot of preparations.

Djurgårdens IF is also thrilled with the match that will play on 12 July in Eskilstuna. Stefan Alvén, Head of Sports at Djurgårnden explains:

- It will be a good start for the second half of the Swedish Premier League season. To play against a good team like Mallorca gives us invaluable experience and it is a positive challange for the team.

Peter Hunt, Chairman at IFK Norrköping is very thrilled to have a La Liga team play in their new arena in Norrköping. The match i scheduled to play during the Swedish summer and will offer not only great football but a football event with entertainment for the whole family on 14 July.
